The Houston Canine Disc Club was excited to host the 2022 Spring Invitation which consisted of an Ashley Whippet Invitational Regional Qualifier on Saturday, April 9th and an UpDog Challenge event on Sunday, April 10th. The event was held at Swanny’s Bar & Grill located at 6224 Theall Road, Houston, Texas. It was a family-friendly event with top handler and canine competitors.
Saturday’s Ashley Whippet Invitational consisted of toss and catch and freestyle games at three levels – open, recreational, and novice. The open levels included a small dog division and there were qualifying spots for the Worlds event to be held in Naperville, Illinois. Sunday’s UpDog Challenge event included 3 games – 4WayPlay, Greedy, and Throw N Go.
