The Houston Canine Frisbee Disc Club is excited to host the 2025 High Flying Heeler (HFH) Invitational and Texas State Disc Dog Championship on March 29-30, 2025 at 2P Ranch in Magnolia, Texas. This will be a two-day major qualifier event where competitors will be attempting to earn their invites for world championships to be held later in the year. The first major qualifier is a UFO World Cup Major Qualifier (UFO) and will be held on Saturday. On Sunday, we will compete in Ashley Whippet Invitational (AWI) qualifier.
Competitors will also have an opportunity to compete in a Jackpot & Gambler based on their combined toss & catch rounds for the weekend. Awards will also be handed out for Intermediate and Novice divisions. At the end of the weekend, we will crown the HFH “Hammer It” Overall Champion and Intermediate Overall Champion. The event will also crown state champions in toss & catch and freestyle categories for all three divisions (Qualifier, Intermediate, and Novice). With over 50 award placements on the line, it will be a fun-filled and competitive weekend. All activities will be held at 2P Ranch, 11931 Presley Drive, Magnolia, TX.
Pre-registration is closed. Once registration closes, the admin team will be preparing for the competition. There will be on-site, day of competition, registration for Novice and Intermediate/Recreational divisions only.
Other fun activities will be a Retired Canine Rerun. Would you like to share the field one more time with your retired canine competitor? We understand that sometimes our canine competitors retire before we are ready or we want one more time to be on the field with them. We are offering a 60-90 second retired canine rerun at no cost to give our furry friends a proper retirement celebration.
HCFDC is also offering competitors with businesses and sponsors vendor booth space to share their business. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to have vendor space or you can reach out to HCFDC at info@HoustonCanineFrisbeeDiscClub.org to reserve your booth.
Saturday evening after the competition has ended, HCFDC will host a BBQ dinner. Dinner will include two meat options, side dishes, dessert, and sodas or water for drinks. Please make sure to reserve your seat at the dinner table. Reservation options may be found on the registration page or you can reach out to HCFDC at info@HoustonCanineFrisbeeDiscClub.org to RSVP.
