Where can I set up my tent for the competition? You will be able to set up your tents on one side of the field. The other sides of the field are fenced -in cow pastures.
Will there be enough parking for competitors? Get there early to get your parking spot. Please only park in the designated area so that we don’t tear up Pennie and Pat’s field. Depending on recent weather events, it may be possible to tent out of your vehicle near the field. More information will be posted on the Facebook Event Page.
Will there be dollies available for transporting gear to the field? We will have dollies available to help transport your gear to the field. Once you are finished with the dollie, please return it to the loading zone so that others may use it too.
Where can I park my RV? If you are planning to bring an RV, please reserve your RV spot through the Registration Form. There are limited number of spots with hook-ups so plan accordingly. Once we receive your request, we will confirm with the hosts and notify you of your reserved spot.
When can I set up my tent? Tent set-up on Friday must be coordinated with HCFDC. This is a private residence and we need to be respectful of the hosts’ time and space. 2P Ranch and the HCFDC are not responsible for your tent should you set it up early and leave anything under it. Cows are curious and have been known to break free of their pasture. More information will be posted on the Facebook Event Page.
Can I work my dogs out of my vehicle? That is totally at the discretion of the competitors. The parking area is fairly close to the field that it is possible to work your dogs from your vehicle.
Can I bring in my own food and drink? Yes, you may. We are coordinating a BBQ dinner for Saturday evening. If you are interested in partaking in the food, please respond to Registration form so that we can get an accurate head count for dinner.
Will we compete if it rains? We will constantly be watching the radar and assessing the weather conditions. If it is a mild rain shower, then we may continue playing through the rain. However, should the weather conditions worsen, then there may be a rain delay until the storm passes. Should the weather be severe enough or cause flooding of the field, then it has been known to happen that the event will be rescheduled. More information will be posted on the Facebook Event Page.
